aG Games 

• aboutGOLF offers several options that add to the fun and competiveness of game play including:
  

• The breaking glass target.  
  

• Choose this target at the practice range to view the glass shatter each time your shot hits the glass target.
  

• Challenge and classic games.
  

• Compete in both closest to pin and long drive games.
  
• For challenge games, up to eight players may compete against each other.
  
• For classic games, players compete against each other for the top ranking on the Leaderboard. Fundraisers can also be set up for classic games.
  
• First, second and third place winners are indicated with place marker medals in the game.
  

• Arcade and minigolf games.
  

• Compete in either an arcade or minigolf setting.
  
• Game animation, game sounds, and music add to the ambiance of play.
  

• Note:  Your license must include the appropriate product key to play challenge, classic, arcade, or minigolf games.

Arcade and MiniGolf Games Overview

Arcade and MiniGolf games allow you to play in either an arcade or minigolf setting.

• Arcade games allow you to play alone to try to beat the top 10 game scores, or to compete  against other players on teams.  Your license must include the Arcade product to play. The following arcade game is included:
  

• Skeeball
  

• Minigolf games allow you to play either 3, 6, 9 or 18 hole games.  One or more players can be selected for a game. Your license must include the MiniGolf product to play. The following three minigolf games are included:
  

• Galactic Greens
  
• Lost Lagoon
  
• Mystery Reef
  

• Game animation, game sounds, and music add to the ambiance of play.

Skeeball Arcade Game

• The Skeeball arcade game allows players to participate in games that simulate an arcade skeeball setting.
  
• Play alone to try to beat the top 10 game scores, or play against others on teams.  
  
• Up to five teams can compete against each other at the same time.

Play Skeeball 

• To begin a Skeeball game, click the Skeeball icon on your desktop.
  
• You will be taken to the Skeeball start screen where you have the option to select either:
  

• 1 Player - Play alone and try to beat the top game scores.
  
• Team Play - Set up your teams to play against each other with 1 or more players on each team.  Up to 5 teams can play at one time.
  
• Top Ten - View the top 10 scores.
  

Play Alone

• To play alone, select 1 Player.

Play Alone

• The skeeball target area will light up and 9 balls will be added to your lane.
  
• Take shots to try to sink your ball in the rings worth the highest points.

• If your final score ranks in the top 10,  you will be prompted to enter your name and your score will be listed on the leaderboard.

Team Play

• To play against other players, select Team Play.

• Set up your teams including:
  

• The number of teams participating.
  
• The number or players on each team.
  
• The total number of shots per player.
  

• Click Start to begin.

Team Play

• The Team Standings menu is displayed showing the team and player up.
  
• For a junior or less skilled player, choose Beginner.  This will provide for a more even playing field between higher level and lower level players.
  
• Select Continue to start play.

Team Play

• After Player 1 on Team 1 has taken all their shots, Player 1 on Team 2 is up next. 
  
• Click Continue to start play.
  
• The game moves to a different lane for the new team to take shots on. 
  

• Each team takes shots on their own lane.
  

• After Player 1 on Team 2 has taken all their shots:
  

• The next team will be up, if there is more than two teams setup.
  
• Or the next player on Team 1 is up, if there are more than one player on a team.
  
• If there are no more teams or no more players on each team, the Team Standing menu will display with the final score for each team.

MiniGolf Games

• The MiniGolf games allow players to participate in games that simulate a minigolf setting.
  
• The following three minigolf games are available:
  

• Galactic Greens - Play minigolf in a space age setting.
  
• Lost Lagoon - Play minigolf in a tropical setting.
  
• Mystery Reef - Play minigolf in an underwater setting.

• To begin a MiniGolf game, click one of the following icons on your desktop:
  

• Galactic Greens
  
• Lost Lagoon
  
• Mystery Reef
  

• You will be taken to the appropriate minigolf start screen where you have the option to select the following:
  

• Add Players - Add new players to participate in the minigolf game.
  
• Clear Players - Remove all the players from the list.
  
• Number of holes to play - Select either 3, 6, 9 or 18 holes to play.
  

• After adding your players and selecting the number of holes to play, click Play to start.

• In the game, the player up, hole number and par for the hole are displayed briefly before the status bar  and options menu button are displayed.
  

• The status bar displays the following information:
  

• Hole Number
  
• Par for the Hole
  
• Shot Number
  
• Distance to the hole from the current ball location
  
• Player Name
  
• Score relative to Par
  
• Player Level - Default is Pro

• Before taking your shot, click the options menu button at the lower left, then choose Options to set up your player and game options.

• The following options are available:
  

• Music - Turn music on or off or set the music volume.
  
• Sound Effects - Turn sound effects on or off or set the sound effect volume.
  
• Hole Intro - Turn on the automatic flyby option.  When on, the game will fly over the hole to display it when the hole loads.
  
• Player Level - Set the skill level for your player.
  
• Shot Limit - Set the maximum number of shots plus par allowed for each hole. 
  

• For example:  If Par = 2 for the hole, and the shot limit = 3, the maximum number of shots allowed for the hole is 5. 
  
• The following shot limit options may be selected:
  

• 1, 2, 3 or Off.
  
• Default = 3
  

• Click OK to save your options and to return to the game.

• Before taking your shot, you have the option to set your aim.
  
• Click the options menu button and choose Aim to display the aim menu.
  
• Click the right or left arrow key and choose OK to set your aim.
  

• Take your shot.
  
• The status bar displays showing the current shot number and the distance to the hole.

• Continue taking shots until you finish the hole.
  
• If you reach the hole in Par or less, you will see fireworks displayed on the screen.
  
• After finishing the hole, the scorecard will display your score.
  
• If the shot limit is reached for your player, you will automatically be transitioned to the next hole even if you have not yet completed the hole.
  
• When all holes have been played, the final scorecard and winner are displayed.

Game Cheats

During game play, there are several tools available to help you achieve your best score including:

• Slope indicator - Indicates there is a slope in the terrain. Adjust your shot accordingly.
  
• Terrain overview icon - Represents a graphic overview of the terrain.

Game Cheats

• Jets - When your ball lands in front of a jet, it will be pushed forward toward the hole.
  

• Bumpers - When your ball hits a bumper, it will be given a big boost to help it on its way to the hole.

Additional Options

• Mulligan - If you do not like the results of your shot, you have the option to re-take it. Choose the Options menu button at the lower left - then choose Mulligan.
  
• Pick Up - If you decide you do not want to play the current hole, choose Pick Up from the Options menu.

Time of Day

• For the Lost Lagoon MiniGolf game, you also have the option to set the time of day at the start menu before beginning a game. Time of Day options are:
  

• Daytime - Play the Lost Lagoon in a daytime setting.
  
• Night - Play the Lost Lagoon in a nighttime setting.
  
• Day to Night - As you play through the holes, the time of day will go from day to night getting darker on each hole.
  

• Click on the time of day option to change to the desired setting.
